Most fundraising at the school is co-ordinated by the Sixth Form Charity Committee. Last year the school raised money for a local charity called Associación Humanitaria Americana De Alicante. This volunteer group support almost 1000 children in families that have arrived in Alicante from Latin America. They also do work in Peru and other parts of Latin America. Other charities that the school has raised money for include local animal welfare groups and the Spanish Red Cross.

Charity fund raising activities include regular non-uniform days, where pupils pay for special permission not to wear uniform, social events, cake sales and concerts. Last year pupils also designed and sold a Christmas card to raise money.

In 2016 the school organised the first King’s College Alicante May Fair, a tradition which originated some 20 years ago at our sister school in Madrid, and one which we were delighted to arrange in our school.  The event was an amazing success, raising 6000€ for charity in just one afternoon! So we will certainly be repeating this each year.  We welcome you to view our video from the day…
